Cost-effective food offers

We are visiting from out of town and checked it out at the recommendation of a friend, and this is a very authentic Italian grocery store with a deep and wide selection of goods. Hands down the best Italian food shop you can find in Dallas. Let me tell you, if you know what you want, they have it.

I went in with my girlfriend to buy Italian sausage, marinara, Syrah, and fresh pasta. He helped us through every step happily and had great suggestions and options for different budgets. He had great recommendations without overstepping.

I had a lovely time and am a customer for life! A must visit in Dallas, TX. Authentic Italian food store with butcher shop.

Amazing subs, including the cuban and meatball subs. Awesome little store with a lot of hard to find Italian groceries. The deli is hoppin, people lining up for meats and sandwiches! Great service and great sandwiches! If you catch it when they're busy be warned while waiting for food you will find plenty to buy!

No places to sit just grab and go! FYI, some of the sandwiches are pricer than others, but you get what you pay for!

Fantastic Italian grocery and deli. Fresh produce, pasta, olive oils, wine, etc. Deli counter with ALL the meats and cheeses. The guy in front of me ordered two pounds of mortadela, and I watched as they heaped it onto the scale, piles and piles of awesomeness.

There are tons of great cheeses, too, including smoked mozzarella my wife's favorite. We ordered an Italian Stallion sandwich and it did not disappoint. Bread was fresh and crunchy, and it was stuffed with fresh meats, cheese, tomatoes, etc. Plan to bump elbows with the locals as you wind your way through the aisles, it's a pretty tight fit.

Can't wait to get home and dig in!! The best and most genuine Italian supermarket in Dallas! Staff is very accommodating. They have non pork options which I appreciate so very much. I also had a chicken parm sandwich.

Both my sandwiches had pickled veggies and hot peppers on the sub I HIGHLY motivate to get a side of hot au jus gravy for dipping and hell even drinking as you finish your food. Reasonable prices.

They are known for their groceries!!! Any thing you need to craft an authentic Italian dish is here. Mild or hot, meat and bread, lastly never forget the beverage! Excellent sandwich hands down. Great place for Italian meats and cheeses. The only place I have found salsicia condita.

My mouth started watering the minute I walked in the door. Reminds me of Sicilian markets I am accustomed to. A gem of a spot for authentic Italian foods. Also there is a very good wine selection. Mentioned on 4 lists. American restaurant.

Show 4 more. Uncle Ubers Sammich Shop is a Dallas sandwich shop that serves up hearty, eclectic bites and beers among colorful, nostalgic decor. They have a rotating menu of 12 top-quality sandwiches with sides of golden fries, making it one of the best lunch spots in the city.

The shop has also extended their hours by popular demand and offers happy hour Sunday-Thursday. Slide 1 of 9. I so loved theses burgers. I recommend this place if your in the mood for just a regular simple burger 🍔.

Over priced disappointment. I was initially surprised after reading the nearly positive reviews of this place! Everything looked amazing see photos but at the end of the day it needs to taste good.

Pros: - large portions - fast service - quality presentation Cons: - overpriced - under-seasoned meat - bland texture - tasted reheated - paid parking - sketchy location - terrible atmosphere I went for lunch with a friend and tried the goat cheese and bacon club and the slow roasted pork sandwich.

Both tasted like they made them the day before and heated them up! Very unfortunate experience for such a highly rated establishment. The goat cheese was the only good thing to say about the fist sandwich. Bread was soggy, tomatoes too thickly cut, bacon was cheap, and cucumbers were unnecessary garnish.

The fries tasted reheated as well. The pulled pork was disappointingly dry for a rub based meat. No sauce, no marinade, no unique seasoning to speak of. Extremely unoriginal.

This is very clearly a bar first and a restaurant second. In summary: either I hit this place on an off day, or this is a mediocre place with inflated reviews from bar patrons. I love a good sandwich 🥪!

Fresh roasted bread, thinly sliced meat, perfectly sliced avocado 🥑! Uncle Uber's is a great spot for a quick bite or to relax for a long lunch. Can't wait to go back! Perhaps the greatest hole in the wall I've dined at all year.

I went here with my brother on his recommendation and it lived up to my expectations. Service was good, the habanero ranch is a nice compliment to the sandwich, and the sandwich is very filling. This is a hole in the wall but absolutely worth checking out!!

Our server was running the show and despite doing it all, we had excellent service and the food was fantastic!! Philly cheesesteak was amazing. I recommend the Cuban or the Veggie BUNme.

We were the only people in there at about 3 pm. Our server was nice, the food was fresh and the fries were seasoned to perfection. I had lunch here, it was delicious. I got the chicken salad with alvacado and bacon and habanaro ranch.

It was all fresh and juicy, very good romaine. I loved it. Also, I tried 3 different mixed drinks, amaretto, red headed Irish, and Washington and they were all made perfectly.

Absolutely loved it. Tons of other restaurants and stuff around them also. Out of 5 I would give them a 4. Unique sandwich shop! We enjoyed the sliced ribeye and a dinner salad, both were served quickly and fresh.

Great Margarita with Josue Cuervo gold! Slide 1 of 5. Mentioned on 3 lists. Barbecue restaurant. Pecan Lodge is a popular BBQ restaurant in Dallas that offers classic Texas barbecue favorites like smoked brisket and jalapeno sausage as well as some unique items.

The restaurant is located adjacent to the Belmont Hotel, and the menu features farm-to-fork cooking with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. We absolutely loved this place!!

The vibe was rustic and cool. The staff was friendly and clear in their questions. The food was outstanding! We recommend the pulled pork sandwich, the pork ribs, and the brisket. The Mac n cheese comes with bacon but was nothing special and the coleslaw was awesome with a little heat!

We will definitely return!! Food was delicious! All BBQ is over priced in my opinion. It usually all tastes the same to me. Pecan lodge was a bit different. The flavors were a great surprise. I would not have a chair in this condition in my dining room.

Everything else was great. Staff was super friendly and on point! Amazing food and good service! I was skeptical about the mac n'cheese, but it exceeded my expectations. The ribs were delicious and the pulled pork was great. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. The price point was also reasonable and the location of this restaurant is in walking distance to other nearby activities.

Parking was a chore, but there is a lot about three blocks away. All in all, superb experience. I shared a two meat plate and it was plenty of food. The highlights were the brisket and the slaw although the sausage and the Mac were really good too. I also loved the assortment of fun soda options the blueberry soda was tasty.

The smell as you walk in… amazing! However, the other guests in the party loved the briquet! Oh, and the cobbler was great too! One of the best BBQ places I've ever tried. Perfect texture and flavor balance.

Prices are accessible and service is pretty fast and good. We've heard this place gets pretty busy on weekends, but we went on Thursday and it was alone. To eat, we got the 3 meat combo, with pulled pork, brisket and beef ribs, and as a side we got the fried okra that was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

On the other hand we ordered a jalapeno sausage that was very flavorful. Finally we had the "Hot Mess" which is a baked sweet potato with barbacoa, cheese and sauces, it was extremely good too.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Pecan Lodge! I had the turkey, and it was super tender and delicious. The fried okra was perfect, and we also really enjoyed the Mac and cheese as well. Everything that we had to eat was so good! My only complaint was that there was no sweet tea, but it was easy for me to overlook based on the rest of our experience.

We will absolutely be back! I ate here on a day out in Dallas while exploring the city. I really wanted to eat BBQ while in Dallas and Pecan Lodge surpassed my expectations. I wanted to eat good BBQ in Dallas and ended up eating mouth watering, absolutely delicious BBQ.

I ate the pulled pork sandwich with no sides and I would do it again. The pulled pork sandwich was a little sweet and even the bread was good.

There are no vegetarian options besides the sides like mac and cheese, potato salad, cole slaw and so on. The sizes for sides are a single, a pint, and a quart. The food was alright. After a long cue, the star dishes were out of order. However, the rest that I tried wasn't worth the waiting times that spent.

You should arrive at least 2 hours before closing time if you wanna try the best dish here. Great Texas barbecue. Hands down the most flavorful and tender giant beef rib I had around town. Brisket was also quite good but was a bit drier than my favorite brisket in town, still worthwhile.

You order your meats, sides, desserts, and soft drinks at a counter, and they do have beers you can order from the bar. Definitely worth a stop when in town! Decent bbq spot in a really lively neighborhood with outdoor seating and sometimes a live band preforming. You walk in and order, I came when there was no line but as soon as I sat down the line was out the door.

I ended up getting a combo 2 meat plate with one side and then getting 2 pint sides. A pint is for 4 people easily. Plenty of tables around and they call you when your food is ready. The BBQ itself was really really really tender and the Mac had delicious flavor.

This is the real deal of Texas BBQ experiences The fact there is a line around the restaurant even at am tells you it's going to be good, and it was.

We each had the 3 meat plates and added a beef rib to share. The meats on offer are Turkey, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Pork Ribs, Sausage Link, and Beef Rib. It was all delicious. We went for coleslaw as our sides and the plates come with pickled gherkins. Soda is self-serve. You get a table after you have paid, then collect your food from the kitchen service hatch when your order number is called.

It was a great experience, and the meat was divine. A Vegetarians and Vegans worst nightmare but heaven for us carnivores. Would love to visit again. All meat is smoked in the on-site smoke house. Everything was delicious. We visited on a Wednesday morning, not crowded at all. Everything was tender and juicy.

Great smoke flavor. The potato was my favorite side. Peach cobbler was really good as well. Highly recommend coming here with your friends and getting a little bit of everything. Previously an Old town favorite.

Sides were good. Ribs were awesome. Fried ribs, not so much. Overall, I left with a sense of complacency, that they are content on pumping out meats compared to tender love and care as before.

Still a good Q. Gotta try the sausage. Service is amazing. Must try in the area. Typically in that scenario everything taste amazing! The place smelled amazing and with all the awards on the wall I thought I was in for some of the best bbq in Texas.

The BBQ here was just okay! Nothing to write home to mom about! I got brisket twice and Turkey with okra! Not my favorite spot but they still do a great job! Plus your taste buds might be different! Loved the area of town. Very cool vibe. A decent line right at 11am.

I had burnt tips and jalapeño sausage. The fried okra was awesome. Overall good experience. It's practically impossible to travel through Dallas without stopping somewhere for barbecue, and this will probably be the best barbecue you've ever had, as long as you don't live in Texas.

Regardless of whether you're "into" BBQ, you're probably still semi-aware of the huge barbecue competitions between the Southern states, with each having specialties for sauces, or lack of sauces, and meats.

Within Texas, the competition is also heavy, with decent chain BBQ served at gas stations, fast food joints, and in backyards, so ordering BBQ in Texas is like ordering Sushi in Japan it's even in vending machines. Texas's specialty is beef brisket, so you can probably guess what I ordered. For those of readers that might be familiar with Tennessee Style cafeteria service, this is very similar service, without actually having to stand around and watch what they heap on your plate.

The reason you don't have to watch is because of one huge variation in service style. In Tennessee you get a "meat and two," or a "meat and three," which denotes the selection of one protein and a number of sides.

The result is they you follow your tray down line and pick from mashed potatoes, corn, baked beans, etc. Here is "two meats and a side," or "three meats and a side," meaning that when you order, your plate disappears to the back of the house and reappears when it's ready.

In addition to brisket, I ordered turkey, which is notoriously dry, and a great BBQ challenge. Unfortunately, the turkey wasn't anything to write home to Mom about, so it's a good thing that that's not the main event.

Before I get to describing the mouth watering, melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned brisket that was delivered as a part of my order totally blew that suspense , I should talk about the price. If you're actually going to sit down and go for some serious BBQ, be prepared to pay top dollar.

The service was friendly, the food was delivered quickly, and my only real complaint is that the Mac and Cheese under performed, it was mushy and a bit bland. Overall, if you're looking for great BBQ, this place has it, but as previously mentioned, this is Texas, so a lot of other places have it as well.

Bubba's Cooks Country - Dallas is a retro-style diner that serves up comfort food classics either at the counter or the drive-thru window. The chicken is some of the best in Dallas and it's a must-visit for anyone looking for some fried goodness.

Known for their Yeast Rolls, fluffy even an hour before closing, Cornbread is a little dry without the addition of Butter or Honey while Potatoes are tasty mashed with Gravy or fried crisp and seasoned.

A petite fast-casual country restaurant serving up big mouth-watering biscuits and other fixings. I find it disappointing because of the neighborhood that is in. Oh, the hash browns are not hash browns. My meal was made to order and served really hot and fresh.

Prices have been raised dramatically and chicken pieces shrinking. Lousy value now. Green beans were unseasoned but the fries? Seasoned with lemon pepper! Has this place changed hands? Not same as it used to be. Restrooms clean.

I have eaten nearly a hundred breakfasts and dinners here. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Bubba's turned up on every best chicken fried steak list I read so I stopped in and was not disappointed. That said, what I found really amazing was actually the fried chicken.

I also tried chicken tenders after I saw all the other tables had a plate of them, but ultimately I was most impressed by the fried chicken. Sides were fantastic as well. Service and hospitality were also wonderful! Pretty good place for comfort food especially considering the ambiance of the entire place.

I got the ambrosia along with the banana pudding for dessert highly recommend. Some of the best fried chicken in Dallas.

You will not be disappointed by going into this restaurant. While parking may be a hassle, the trouble is definitely worth to delicious food they prepare. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond. Have already been twice in one week.

Crispy yummy freshly fried catfish!! butter your cornbread well I like it on the sweeter side. Country fried steak was fine 50s diner aesthetic with red neon lighting Men have to use portapotty but the ladies single-stall compact bathroom is clean and has air freshener.

A retro Art Deco space with Southern comfort food standards. Great fried chicken and mud cat here. Sides are good and rolls doughy and sweet like mamma used to make. Food was great.

The catfish was perfectly seasoned. The fried chicken was moist with a crunchy coating. Green beans perfectly seasoned. Okra was crunchy. Ambrose Salad was good just the right amount a sweetness.

Mashed potatoes nice and creamy. I'll be nbsck for the chicken fried steak. Taco restaurant. La Banqueta is the best mexican restaurant in Dallas for cheap eats, with options ranging from tacos to burritos.

The place is small and unassuming, but the food is delicious and authentic. I tried the pork, chicken, beef, cow back fat, and steak tacos and the quesadillas and they were all out of this world! So much so that I have to write a review about how amazing this place was!

This place is a Dallas gem of a taco tour. From there the tacos are fast back out the other side. I felt there were about 10 people back there handling everything. Another secret is to call in your order and pick up and eat there.

Tacos were out of this world. I've been wanting to visit this spot for years, but I don't visit downtown Dallas enough to stop by. My manager recently reminded me of this place, and I was downtown for an anime convention, so it was perfect timing. The restaurant is a little outdated and dirty, but that's how you know the food is going to be FIRE.

The menu was simple and easy to understand. You have your typical street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and drinks. Luckily, we came right before the dinner rush because after we sat down, the restaurant was PACKED and the line went from one end to the other.

The tables were pretty dirty. I'm not sure if the workers wipe them down after someone sits there, but I grabbed some paper towels and wiped them before sitting. My boyfriend and I ordered 10 tacos, each with different meats so we can try them out.

I also got a horchata fresca as well, and it was one of the best horchata that I tried. Idk what they did, but the drink was light, and there wasn't too much of that grainy part inside. I loved my typical lingua and tripe tacos, but the highlight was the suadero tacos.

I think that's a thin slice of beef, but it was juicy and authentic and they have the perfect amount of onion and cilantro. I regret not buying more of the suadero tacos, and the line was too long for me to get some to-go. I took off one star because of the cleanliness.

I usually don't mind but the tables were really dirty and there were flies flying around. Now this is REAL AUTHENTIC Mexican food! I can say the best in Dallas. I highly recommend the Torta with Cheese.

Not bad! After seeing the reviews we had to try for ourselves. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy but the line moved quickly. The parking lot was packed. We ordered tacos Al pastor, cabeza, Torta and a quesadilla.

The meat was just really lacking flavor. The quesadilla was small but for the price is not a bad thing. If I came back I probably would order something else. It was just ok. Service was GREAT!

Very clean and friendly employees. The resturant had a nice mellow vibe. Quick in and out spot, you could also dine in. Me and my sister had the steak soft taco and chicken quesadilla. Both the taco and quesadilla could use more seasoning. The sauces were good. Would probably be second or third on my list if I had to choose.

To drink we had a limonada and horchata. While this place may look like a hole in the wall, the food and drinks were very delicious!!

The hot sauce, my goodness! The red one seemed to be spicier than the green one but the horchata helped cool the burning sensation down. Will definitely return here and continue to give them our business! The food is ALWAYS delicious!! They offer green and red salsa but the green salsa is my favorite because it's spicier.

They don't offer rice and beans though and grilled onions are ordered separately. You better walk in knowing what you want to order if you're going during lunch time. They are always super busy at that time and don't have time for your indecisive self.

I came here because of the good reviews it has on google. I had tacos al pastor and bistec. I would rate them 8 from 1 to The tortillas are not handmade. It's a small place with small parking space. They have beef tongue tacos, beef head, beef tripe among others. And they do not bring the food to your table.

I haven't found a Taco Spot in Dallas that can compete. I am a Regular!!! Be sure to get the GREEN SAUCE. And they are open until 11pm. Service is good. To me the food taste better at night with the men cooks. We arrived around lunch time.

Parking was full. There was a long line. Prices on holidays vary. Choose from a fantastic array of sliced meats, vegetables exotic and familiar, noodles and more, and have a party cooking them at your table in two kinds of super-aromatic broth. Flavors rotate: You can count on classics like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, while daily specials might include pumpkin, black raspberry or butterscotch.

The drumstick is mighty plump, and mighty good. Sure, other Asian restaurants offer similarly priced specials, but this one comes from one of the best Thai restaurants in the country, the only four-star restaurant in Richardson. Choose a curry, such as this beautifully spiced panang chicken curry, or a rice or noodle dish, such as pad kee mao drunken noodles.

The special includes a cup of soup of the day and an egg roll. A bottle of good wine at a top restaurant can be a terrible budget-buster. Follow Leslie Brenner on Twitter at lesbren.

When it comes to sandwiches, no one does it better. For your first trip, we recommend ordering the Pork BunMe, a warm bun with pork, homemade daikon, and garlic mayo, topped with cold cucumber, carrot slaw, jalapeno and cilantro.

Add a side of fries to share with friends. La Banqueta wins the number one spot for the best cheap eats in Dallas, hands down. To get you started, we recommend giving the suadero, pork, and steak tacos a try. Your email address will not be published. Save my name and email in this browser for the next time I comment.

I will def come back!!!!!! Korean restaurant. Asian fusion restaurant. Chicken wings restaurant. Fried chicken takeaway.

The korean restaurant bbbop Seoul Kitchen offers a wide variety of rice bowls, chicken and cocktails, making it the perfect spot for groups. With an eclectic menu and quick service, this restaurant is great for anyone looking for Korean-style food in a relaxed setting.

what an amazing discovery. My first time having Korean food. The coconut curry was so delicate and tasty. Loved the spicy curry sauce. Have been coming to this place for a while and they never fail!!

I am new to Korean food and this Korean fusion place was ah-mazing! I came back the same week to try more. I had the Orange Bop Chicken. That flavor was so dang delicious! I also tried the local draft beer they had on tap. It was smooth and refreshing! Perfect for a hot summer day. The vibe in the place was on point!

A great place to go with a group of friends or family. Prices are reasonable. Service was great! The Get in your belly BBQ Pork Belly is really burnt and salty.

And the waiter hands me a fork with bare hand without a napkin or any cover. Also, we came in as 2 people and they clearly saw 2 when we ordered, but only gave us 1 fork and 1 cup!

In case you wonder, it wasn't busy. Quite the opposite. We were 1 of only 2 customers groups there. No line. Parking lot empty. So they can't claim "too busy to take care of customers".

Just overall bad service and lack of care. The manager was playing on his phone! We also tipped generously at the counter and he saw.

Yet, still lack of care. Been here many times, everything is good everytime. The bowls, wings, and fries are great! For the price its really hard to beat this place. Honestly it was a really great place to eat we definitely will come back! Food was very tasty, hot, and good portions.

A family of 5 This is my first time in Dallas, and first restaurant I have been in Dallas. We ordered chicken and dumpling bop, and other is some pork bop. Both are delicious, and spicy. They are perfectly made. The ambience is great, and everything is tidy around. They taste great, and worth it.

To me it was overcooked both times; less this time around but still. I also had the lettuce wraps that seemed to be made with flappy 3 day old leafs and not as much steak that one would think they were getting.

The rice bowls here are really good! I tried the spicy spicy bowl and it was delicious. Will definitely try a different flavor next time. The wings themselves were cooked perfectly so no complaints there.

The vibe was nice and chill, and the place was clean. Food was hot and flavorful. Staff was courteous. Food portion was enough to fill me. Kimchi was pretty good.

Parking with an entrance in the back. German restaurant. Grocery store. Meat products store. Kuby's Sausage House is a family-owned German market and restaurant with attached European-style deli. It's an excellent place to get your sausage fix, as well as enjoy hearty breakfast and lunch meals.

The market has amazing selections of meats, sausages, cheeses and salads, and it's also worth visiting for its attached European-style deli. This was my first experience at Kuby's and I definitely will be back soon!

There is a store with a meat counter, cheese area, shelf items, and premade meals. On the other side of the store is a restaurant where you can order food and drinks. They have sausages, many types, German salad, sauerkraut, fries, sandwiches, and beer in steins.

The staff was very nice and helpful with any question I had. If you're in the Dallas area come check out Kuby's! I and my family love the place! This establishment consists of 2 sections: Fresh market and the dining area. We tried potato pancake, sausage sampler and smoke salted pork chop.

They are all excellent dishes. Sauerkraut is just right. I don't know which sauce included in the sausage sampler but it tastes like fresh Wasabi. The minus point is the parking.

You might find it difficult to find a slot in the parking area. Stopped for lunch while running errands in Dallas. As always the food was delicious and filling. We did miss the usual bread basket with butter that used to be on the tables.

Was always such good fresh bread. Stopped and loaded up on meats on the way out. Enjoyed a lunch here today. Really neat place.

Enjoyed the German style and the food was perfect. While walking in Snider Plaza, I was overwhelmed by a delicious aroma wafting in the cool morning air. I followed my nose to Kuby's Sausage House and perused their Fruhstuck menu that's breakfast to you and me.

The decor is warm and charming, having the ambience of a traditional German restaurant. The diners seem to be from the neighborhood of University Park and knew one another. I ordered two pancakes and sausage but noticed potato pancakes on the menu.

Perhaps next time. There was one server for about twenty patrons so she was busy but attentive to me. When my cakes and sausage arrived, the food temperature was tepid which suggested that it may have sat around a while. I mentioned the server was busy, right?

No biggie. The cakes were hearty and tasty. The sausage tasted fresh and with more sage than normal. My breakfast was delicious and I liked the atmosphere.

So, take a trip to the Old Country without leaving Dallas at Kuby's. Decor was very German-like and the market was small but had so many necessities that you would want! Food was pretty good and I really loved the fact that they gave you wasabi to enjoy your meal with.

A super cool concept but it works so well and complements the meat dishes! Great place to go if you're looking for authentic German meat.. The assortment of Delete and other products was this was amazing.

Prices are pretty reasonable considering you're not in Germany. The restaurant side was packed.. They had german breads And other condiments that are difficult to find. I ended up buying way too many things. Such a cute place to shop for little items you might need.

The restaurant is very good and great service. I like that during lunch, it is very alive with hustle and bustle - makes for such great energy. I only went to the market since the restaurant was already closed for the day. All the sausages looked good and I had a hard time choosing.

Lol Service was friendly, nice, and fast. Great lunch spot for authentic Austrian brats and beers. Highly recommend the three sausage plate.

We also tried the German potato pancakes which were great to snack on as well. Limited seating so get there early if you want a spot! Worth a trip for sure! Mentioned on 2 lists.

Beer garden. Show 3 more. This expansive and popular outdoor space has a variety of food trucks, flatbeds, and mismatched lawn furniture to entertain guests. There is also a permanent eatery that sells cheesesteaks at an affordable price. I was intrigued by the scenery and got curious to visit for lunch.

We tried the Philly cheesesteak and nacho cheese with steak. As we ate, we scoured the venue taking in the abstract scene compare of bits of glamour, sport-bar and hoedown- it was all fascinating to admire as we ate and chattered away.

Best times to go is spring and fall as summer is too hot to enjoy and appreciate the outdoor scenery. A great place to go day or night.

For food or drinks. They always have amazing food trucks there to keep the options open for anyone. They always have a quirky saying on their sign as well.

Parking is easy and never a problem. One of the better patio bars on Greenville. I love the backyard concept. Casual seating, food trucks, firepits, and music.

The only thing that could be improved are the flies. People can make a drinking game out of it. Never disappoints. We love this place. Good hot Philly cheese steaks and ice cold beers.

Great place to hang out unwind and chill with friends. Also check out Second Rodeo in Fort Worth! One of the best outdoor drinking places in the lower Greenville neighborhood.

They have different food trucks everyday. You get buy license plate frames and click pictures at picture booth. Just a great place to hang out with friends, drink some beer, and eat some good food. Almost all of the seating now is shaded with fans and misters throughout.

They have their own food which is excellent or they have a few food trucks that rotate to choose from. Good selection of cocktails but if you like craft beer make sure to try their in house choices.

The Hefe is outstanding. The menu can be accessed via a qr code and they bring everything right to you. All in all a great experience!

It was a nice chill place to go to. Its only 21 and over after 9 so if you have younger siblings or kids they are welcome b4 9.

I went because it's dog friendly. They are mainly an outside bar and they have fans to keep you cooled but in some spots you have to stand to feel the air. They also had a watermelon eating contest and drinks served in a watermelon shell!! They have did trucks but I didn't eat.

My dogs enjoyed being outside and the people there showed them love which was all that mattered to me. Make sure you bring your own poop bags. Fun, unique spot with a full bar and food trucks.

We went on a beautiful afternoon. Eclectic and memorable decor. Super friendly people who were working, great spot!

Nice place to chill with a group of friends on a Saturday or Friday night. I hear they have live music during the daytime afternoon, we arrived there at 9 and it was packed but we still found a place to sit, had a beer, and just chatted.

This place was so much fun. I really loved the concept of an open air food yard and hope we could get something like this in my hometown. Food was hit or miss, but overall good and the vibe was awesome. Family friendly. We were glad to have found this place.

From the outside, it didn't appear to be much more than maybe a food stand, but once we entered, we were taken back by the great atmosphere. They have different food options, our brisket nachos were good, my margarita was great!

They have swings, foldable beach chairs around a fire pit, they have booths, tables, bar seating, covered patio, indoor and outdoor seating something for everyone!!!

This reminded us alot of Austin, TX spots that likewise have a backyard feel and pet friendly. The music on Saturday night was a good mix. The crowd is also a good mix. We will remember to visit again.

Super cute place with great aesthetic. Outdoor and indoor seating with tons of space. On tap gin sour drinks and beer were wonderful. The trucks give off a great colorful vibe and atmosphere for friends. They also allow pets and have food trucks on site.

We follow the Daytripper, and he recently came and recommended this place. It was awesome! A hole in a wall that you'd almost miss.

There are plenty of food trucks and seating throught. The Truck Yard has one of the coolest restrooms I've seen. They're pet and kid friendly.

The Philly cheesesteak is amazing, and I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot. I didn't get a chance to check out the other trucks, but I heard great things about those. They have lots of beers on tap and plenty of specialty drinks.

It was so hard to choose! Shout out to Kiera, our fantastic bartender. Even though it was our first time here, Kiera made us feel like a couple of regulars.

The staff all around were attentive and courteous. Anytime I make my way up here, I will make an effort to stop by for happy hour.

Cattleack Barbeque is a popular barbecue restaurant in Texas that serves up delicious meat and sides. It's only open on Thursdays, Fridays, and the first Saturday of the month, so get there early to avoid long lines.

Indoors and outdoors seating are available, and napkins are always a good idea. So this place was amazing! Everything was amazing! I had pork ribs, link, corn 🌽, Cole slaw, bread pudding, corn 🍞 bread and sweet tea!

I can't even begin to say how great this food was today. Everything was great. I had to take home a bag because I couldn't eat it all. It wasn't real cheap, but well worth it. I hate to pay alot for food just to have it not taste good. Everything was on point, even the moonshine sweet tea that does not have alcohol.

I'll be back forsure! Come early and be prepared for a wait. Took an hour from standing in line to sitting and eating, but well worth it. The menu sells out, so try to get there closer to opening if you want the full selection.

The beef ribs were the highlight - also most expensive but for good reason. The sides are excellent, definitely give them a shot as well even if you get the smallest size. Friendly people, great atmosphere, and overall cool experience!

The food was underwhelming. Luckily we did not have to stand in line long. Here's the rundown: sausage was just bad, turkey breast was under season, the brisket was bland, and the sides were nothing special. IMHO, Texas BBQ should not need sauce to make it tasty.

But the pickles were delicious. Service was efficient, but not friendly. There are better BBQ options in the DFW area. Visited June 9, The brisket was very flavorful and moist, the rib was good, a bit on the drier side for me and the sausage was ok.

If the sides we got, burnt end beans, Street corn and wagyu chili, the beans were the best. Street corn had too much cumin?

and the chili was a bit greasy. Oh and the sliced bread was really good as well. If your looking for great bbq, you wouldn't think it would be hidden back in these warehouses. It's a must stop for a great lunch.

Brisket is smoked to perfection, with a great bark. Ribs are meaty, and tender. The sausage is juicy with a good flavor.

Employees were helpful and courteous. Make plans to stop at this north Dallas joint. There was a live band outside to provide entertainment, people in line sharing beers and conversation. Their meat was so tender and delicious.

Each meat had its own unique flavor to it and did NOT need any sauce as the meat was amazing as is. In regards to their sides the hatch Mac and cheese, potato salad, and collard greens were delicious.

We were the first ones in line today and SO worth it! We enjoyed the pastrami brisket and burnt ends! The hatch chilie Mac and cheese is so far my FAVORITE side!

The Cole slaw was alright. Light vinegar base and was a decent palate cleanser between the flavors. The brisket was very VERY moist. We also had the hot link hottest one offered for today and to be honest it wasn't spicy, but still pretty damn good!

Pork belly was a quick impulse buy AND A DAMN GOOD CHOICE. The banana pudding was very fluffy and so delicious. I definitely recommend getting there around am ish- by the time you get your food will be around Took a 4mile walk last Thursday over to try some BBQ, and it was worth it!

Went for the Texas Trinity plate along with a side of the hatch mac and cheese and some crack cake for dessert! The brisket was excellent, and the pork rib was almost as good.

The mac and cheese was very good, and the crack cake was delicious. I also bought some extra brisket to take home, along with some Bologna and some of the burnt end beans. The Bologna was great and also made for a fabulous sandwich the next morning! Took the Texas trinity. Sausage link was okay.

I recommend you just get the brisket by the pound. Pork Ribs are also good but briskets are much better. I heard the crack cake is fantastic so try that too. Great staff, service and prices! The pastrami beef rib and smoke bologna are my favorites. Brisket and pulled pork are top notch too! You have to try the crack cake for dessert!

Definitely lived up the hype! Brisket was outstanding perfect flavor, not too salty , as were the pork ribs. We got 3 sides and enjoyed all of them - Mac and cheese, collard greens, and Mexican street corn.

Incredible craft barbecue. Finally was able to get the Pastrami Beef Rib before they sold out and it was well worth it!

Incredibly tender and the pastrami marinade has a great flavor. For the side try the street corn. Another popular plate is the Trinity Plate which comes with brisket, pork rib, and choice of sausage try the spicy. A cool aspect of your experience is just the wait and seeing the murals that are outside and pictures and news stories inside.

Great service! Get there early! We came on a Friday afternoon for lunch around pm. They were sold out of beef ribs by pm. Worth the wait in line, it goes by fast! We waited minutes.

Lots of people came by pm and they were sold out of everything by then. Pork ribs were our favorite by far. They also free beer if you come early enough, but they were out by the time we checked out. Was on a Texas trip and tried seeking out the best BBQ in the Dallas area; and this was on most peoples lists.

You get met with a line out the door and a wide range of food options once you get in. My friends and I sampled most of the menu; the burnt ends were out favorite as they had a rich, smoky flavor and tenderness to them. The mac and cheese and collard greens were great sides, the brisket had nice flavor, and the ribs were very meaty.

I knock it down because all of it was a bit salty and a little expensive for the portions we got. Overall still worth a stop. So, heard about this place from B4 bbq and had to try it out!

Misty came out to greet everyone and tell everyone about the specials and greet the new comers! She explained that the jerk chicken had been something they'd been perfecting for a long time and it was fantastic.

Beef ribs: I'm writing this review a day after eating here to process my experience and I keep remembering the taste of this rib in my mouth. Perfect bark, tore like butter and almost fluffy when bitting into it.

Amazing beef rib. My favorite Beef rib so far! Platter came with a lean piece and moist piece of brisket. The moist piece was very flavorful and just the right amount of fat.

And the lean was cooked perfectly. Chopped pork: I was so glad to see a straight pork option, and it did not disappoint! Turkey: super moist turkey! Great peppery flavor! Top tier turkey! Sides: we got potato salad, dirty rice, and brisket beans and mac and cheese.

Brisket beans were pretty good. Sides weren't my favorite part of the whole experience but still good enough sides to compliment the excellent cooked meat.

Last but certainly not least. The crack cake! This thing is a must-have! I would come back and wait in line just to get another slice! Do not miss out! Just wanna thank B4 BBQ for recommending this place and Cattleack for creating such amazing BBQ.

Waited an hour, but not really worth it. Tried the beef rib and trinity platter sausage, brisket, pork rib. The beef brisket was way too fatty, got a bit overwhelming.

The brisket and pork ribs, though, were the winners - definitely recommend those. Sides were decent, but nothing noteworthy.. Slide 1 of 2. Vegetarian restaurant. Indian restaurant. Kalachandji's is a longstanding and popular vegetarian Indian buffet spot in Old East Dallas.
